Media Makers show #19 - Bea Dageforde

Ladue alum Bea Dageforde is a video producer in Chicago, IL. Bea has gotten her foot in the door of the media industry as a Production Assistant in music videos, television, and films. In this episode, Bea talks about her most recent project, leading the Production Assistant team for the new HGTV show coming out this month, "Celebrity IOU" with the episode starring Melissa McCarthy. Bea even got to have lunch with the stars of the show, everyone's favorite brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott. Bea shares how she got her first job off CraigList, working as a grip on a variety of different show sets, and offers advice for young video producers.  We also reveal a huge surprise for Bea at the end of the show, which she did not see coming.
