Dan McLaughlin serves as the television play-by-play voice of St. Louis Cardinals baseball on FOX Sports Midwest. A St. Louis native, Dan called his first major league game at age 23. His play-by-play work on Cardinals baseball has earned him three Mid-America Emmy Awards and 10 nominations. On this episode, Dan discusses how he is creating content for his website Scoops With Danny Mac, a site filled with a variety of current sports content and long-format interviews. We also relive some of Dan's best play-by-play walk-off win calls from the booth and he shares his favorite memory calling a game. In addition, Dan shares stories of lesson learned from Jack Buck to Tim McCarver and he reveals to us the one person he wishes he would have had the opportunity to interview. Dan also offered a peak into how he prepares for games, keeps record of his scorecard, and how his love of baseball history provides him with thoughtful insight during a ballgame.
