Ladue alum Dena Goldstein is a communications professional, with extensive experience in writing, editing, multimedia production, social media management, and podcasting. Dena wrote in her bio "my high school teacher asked me to create a video for an organization that helps women with postpartum depression (Mother to Mother). The video was so touching that there wasn’t a dry eye at the showing. From then on, I knew my life’s purpose was to use communications as a vehicle to move people, from tears to donating to investing in an idea, product or service." On this episode, Dena talks about the types of media she produces for the Texas Veterinary Medical Association in Austin, TX. Dena gave phenomenal advice to students about following their passions, whether it's in writing, video production, or creating podcasts. Dena offers incredibly insightful thoughts about her career path into being a full-time media maker and what's next in her future.
