"We are covering history," said Ladue alum Alexis Zotos, who is an award-winning reporter for KMOV4 in St. Louis, MO. As a General Assignment reporter you can find her stories on the evening newscasts in St. Louis, mostly the 10 pm show. "Writing is the basis of all journalism, " said Alexis, so in this episode, Alexis talks how important her writing is for scripts as she is documenting covering history every day during the coronavirus pandemic. Alexis discussed how she reports the news, now through FaceTime and Zoom, utilizes social media to answer audience questions through her stories, and covers press conferences from the Missouri Governor on a daily basis. Alexis shared a couple of her recent coronavirus stories and broke down how they each were produced. Alexis also always offers terrific advice for any journalist.
